The Big Hack is an event where boys/girls, developers, hackers, makers, IoT experts, and technology enthusiasts come together in teams to address the challenges promoted by the sponsoring companies and, with the help of experienced mentors, develop prototypes for hardware and software projects.
The Big Hack is a time to share ideas and creativity and to enhance skills in an innovative and fun way, providing solutions to real challenges.
The Big Hack is designed for anyone interested in technology applied to Energy, Mobile, IoT, Cyber Security, Smart Cities, Industry 4.0, Electronics, AI, Sustainability, and using it to provide unusual and innovative solutions to the given challenges.
The challenges will be promoted by leading industry companies, partners of The Big Hack.
Prizes and rewards will be available for the winners of each challenge.
The Big Hack is promoted by the Campania Region and organized by Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition (on behalf of the Rome Chamber of Commerce) and Sviluppo Campania, in collaboration with the Apple Developer European Academy @ Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
Where and when
The Big Hack 2023, now in its seventh edition, will take place on July 1st and 2nd at the Apple Developer Academy in Naples.
